If you only have an hour or two, these opportunities allow volunteers to answer legal questions and give brief advice through a hotline, advice desk, or virtual portal. Some opportunities are at specific times, while others can be done at your convenience.
Clinics
Volunteer your time to provide legal information or brief advice to clients on a variety of matters through clinics located around Indiana. Please contact your local pro bono district for a list of upcoming clinic opportunites.
Transactional / Limited Scope
Provided limited assistance for immigration, expungements, driver's license reinstatement, estate planning, or small estate matters. Please contact your local pro bono district to see what opportunities are available.
Litigation / Full Representation
Volunteer to represent clients in court or administrative hearings, or other contested situations that require direct, one-on-one representation. Cases pre-screened and referred through individual pro bono districts.
Law Student Opportunities
We are looking for law students to help with clinic intakes and to assist unrepresented litigants complete and file court forms and pleadings provided by Indiana Legal Help. Remote opportunities available.
