Volunteer Opportunities for Law Students

Virtual Projects: 

• Form Document Project: We could use a few law students to help us gather, organize, and evaluate the forms and civil pleadings used by each of our 11 offices, then help us figure out what forms need to be combined, updated, and/or created from scratch. These forms will touch on a variety of subjects, including family law, adult guardianships, debt defense, and general civil matters. This is a volunteer-only position; we are not able to offer any paid internships at this time (sorry!). 

• Assisting Clients With Forms: Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. is looking for law students interested in volunteering to help low-income clients in Indiana complete standardized legal documents and forms, either in-person or remotely. Negotiable schedule; no minimum time commitment. Must be comfortable with using Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and various Microsoft applications, and able to communicate with a wide variety of personalities and abilities. Must also be able to work independently, but willing to ask for clarification or assistance when needed.
