Materials from the June 25, 2021 Eviction 101 CLE presented by the Indiana Bar Foundation, Indiana Legal Services, Pro Bono Indiana, and Indiana State Bar Association.
This program helps residential landlords and tenants attempt to avoid or mitigate eviction with the help of a neutral facilitator.
Courts must tell parties about available pre-eviction diversion resources, ask if parties are interested in pursuing these resources, and stay the eviction proceeding for 90 days if the parties agree to pursue an agreement.
