By opting in to receive text messages from Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. ("Pro Bono Indiana," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these SMS Terms of Use. These terms govern your participation in our text messaging program and should be read together with our SMS Privacy Policy.

Definitions. 

• "Opt In," "Opt-In," or "Opting In" means requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, responding to, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages from Pro Bono Indiana. 
• "Text Messaging Service" means any service through which Pro Bono Indiana sends one or more SMS or MMS messages to your mobile phone number.

Consent to Receive Text Messages. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Pro Bono Indiana related to:

• Legal assistance services
• Program updates
• Appointment reminders
• Case-related communications
• Event notifications
• Volunteer opportunities
• Other important organizational information

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving legal services or assistance from Pro Bono Indiana.

Upon enrollment, you will receive a confirmation message such as: "You have successfully been subscribed to messages from Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. from this number. Message frequency may vary. Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

Electronic Communications Consent (E-Sign Disclosure). By agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to the use of electronic records to document your consent and communications with Pro Bono Indiana. You may withdraw this consent by replying STOP to any text message we send.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with Pro Bono Indiana, the services you request, your participation in programs or events, and any follow-up communications you initiate.

Message and Data Rates. Pro Bono Indiana does not charge for text messages sent through the Text Messaging Service. However, message and data rates may apply according to the terms of your wireless carrier plan. You are responsible for any fees charged by your mobile service provider.

Privacy and Use of Information. We respect your privacy and use information provided through the Text Messaging Service only for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with service providers, telecommunications carriers, messaging platforms, and vendors that support the delivery of SMS communications on our behalf. 

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes. 

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect our rights, users, staff, volunteers, clients, or property.

Opting Out.

You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying: STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or OPT OUT. 

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message such as: "You have now been opted-out and will receive no further messages from Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."
 

Once you opt out, you will no longer receive text messages unless you enroll again.

Help and Support.

To receive assistance, reply HELP to any text message. You will receive a response similar to:

"For additional information, please call Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. at [Support Phone Number]. To opt-out, reply STOP."

Changes to These Terms.

Pro Bono Indiana reserves the right to update or modify these SMS Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective upon posting unless otherwise indicated.

By opting in to receive SMS messages from Pro Bono Indiana, Inc., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these SMS Terms of Use, the Pro Bono Indiana Privacy Policy, and any applicable Terms and Conditions.
